Event Info: For every picture we receive of a sister wearing a pink hijab/shawl or a brother wearing a pink kufi/hat, we will donate $1 to programs to help women in developing countries. In the end, the pictures will be combined and made into a video tribute. We’ll show the world how much we raised for these women in developing countries.

The luncheon will focus on Health and Wellness as well as raising awareness and funds to support breast cancer. The luncheon will offer speeches from survivors, information, bazaar and workshops. Event info: Students are encouraged to come in wearing a pink hijab or kufi. Sweatshirts and long-sleeved shirts with the Pink Hijab Day logo will be sold and proceeds will go toward breast cancer research. Pink wrist bands will also be sold.

  1. Assalamu alaikum. Aqsa School is hosting Pink Hijab Day, on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. We have invited islamic schools, the mosque, and community members to come show support of this valuable cause. Please help us spread the word. We take a group photo at 1pm insha’Allah.
